MozBar access without a full subscription
MozBar V5 can inspect page elements in guest mode. Its free Community account adds Moz DA/PA. Paid Moz Pro access adds advanced features such as Spam Score. If the missing panel is a paid feature, changing your browser will not unlock it.
DA/PA, DR/UR and other vendor metrics use different data. Choose the metric your workflow actually needs, then label its source in reports.
Installing MozBar in Chrome, Edge or Opera
- Open the official MozBar listing in your desktop browser.
- Follow the browser’s permission or compatibility prompt. If installation is unavailable, use a supported browser or another publisher-linked extension.
- Pin the icon, then refresh a normal public webpage.
- Use guest checks first, or sign in to the free Community account for DA/PA.
- If the result is still blank, follow the diagnostic sequence before paying for a suite.
Opera’s published help and current forum guidance differ on whether an old helper is needed. Follow the current installed browser’s store prompts; do not treat a helper as a universal prerequisite. Opera installation help.

Does MozBar need a paid account for every feature?
No. Its current listing offers guest page checks and Community DA/PA. Advanced features such as Spam Score require Moz Pro.
Can the finder install an extension for me?
No. It links the official publisher or store. Review the requested browser permissions before installing.
